Many of which are now not only clients but trusted longtime friends.
By 2006 Gary had convinced her she not only knew much more than she realized but should also prove it to herself by applying to the State for her Real Estate Brokers License. Always up for a challenge she pursued all the additional courses the state set as prerequisite and then off she went to the testing hall. Although rare she past the exam first time through. In 2007 California issued her Brokers License and the race was on…

Gary Royce
Gary started real estate in 1987 working at what was Century 21 Agua Dulce and was challenged by both his Broker and fellow agents of the small country office. One of the first challenges did not even register as important to him. The office was split in two teams. Each team was to get as many listings as they could collectively, the losing team would cater a meal for the winning team and their family. Gary’s team won and a great time was had by all but most importantly Gary’s stats for that contest would show up a month later at the C 21 region 1 rally and he was taken by surprise when called to the podiem for the region wide ” Listing Agent of the Month” for February 1987. He had hussled up an amazing 19 listings in his first month in the business. He had no idea then but soon he realized real estate was his new carrier.
Prior to real estate he had spent a couple of years at Prudential Insurance and prior to that his original career had him test driving exotic german cars as a german car technician but fell victim to a back injury in 1981 and was forced to find something less physical for employment.
After a couple short years with Century 21 he was recruited by a developer who needed Gary’s go get em approach for corporate aquisitions of large parcels for subdivision and developement. During that adventure Gary met many Investors from around the globe including a Doctor from Iran who eventually convinced Gary to help him launch a mortgage business. This was exciting for Gary as he learned yet another facet of the Real Estate Business. But something else happen too, Gary realized he wanted to be the Boss. Next thing you know it he is testing for a Brokers License and in January of 1994 he not only recieved his Brokers License but he also launched Assurance Financial Inc. in Acton Ca. That being the parent company for Assurance Servicing, Assurance Voucher Control, Assurance Mortgage, AFI Realty and Double D and G Constuction. Even though this was wildly prosperious it consumed 115 or more hours a week and in 1996 he sold his ownership interest and opened the next chapter. After a brief and needed break he hatched his next venture. Prior to this point he had teams of loan officers or real estate agents which although being rewarding and financially beneficial, he had a family that saw very little of him. His new effort would succeed with a schedule that focused on his wife, daughters and spiritual needs.
Ergo the RoyceCompanies of Royce Realty, Royce Financial, Royce mortgage. Using his multi faceted skillset he focused on a smaller, more manageable team of family and very close friends to build a property and asset management portfolio while relying on word of mouth and referral mortgage, real estate and investment strategies book of business. By eliminating the huge need to review and oversee the agents and reps under his brokers license he had at Assurance, he became much more focused on personal production and by 2000 he knew he had figured it out. A balance of personal time to enjoy life while providing top tier service for each and every client. He had a clear path and felt life was grand. Then 10 days after the tragic events of 911 his wife of 19 years announced she was leaving him. WOW. Never say never…. Stunned, shocked and confused he felt it was all for not. After what seemed like forever (4 to 6 weeks) he realized he had a huge responsiblity to his clientele that did not change because of his personal affairs. TO BE CONTINUED!
